It’s a question often asked, but it turns out that the answer is anything but clear cut.
Printed flyers are generally thought of to be cheap and cheerful, bringing information which might be very immediate. They are perhaps poorly printed on low quality paper and might be used to promote a night club or pizza restaurant.
A print leaflet on the other hand is potentially better designed, might be printed on a higher grade material in colour and won’t have that cheap feel to it. There’s also the sense that a leaflet might be a little larger, perhaps A5 or A4 size, whereas a flyer could be as small as A6 size.
None of this is precise because in reality flyers and leaflets are often interchangeable terms in printing, but leaflets the rule of thumb is that leaflets are considered to be of higher quality and more reputable.
