Good pre-press work is under-rated but absolutely vital to successful printing outcomes.
We’ve been doing this so long that we can remember when repro used to be handled by another firm in a different part of town. But we soon understood that what people really want is everything print related done under one roof and that’s always been the case at PrintHouse.
So, integral to our print factory, is our pre-press department which can take any kind of file from any platform (i.e. PC, Mac, etc) and turn it directly (CTP) into plates ready for the press. But before we go outputting anything physical, we undertake a full pre-flight check to ensure that your files are absolutely ‘print ready’.
Once everyone’s happy with the visual we’ll output a high-res colour accurate proof which knocks the socks off those old Chromalins and the like. We simply won’t print a thing until you’ve had the chance to check and sign-off on this as, like you, we hate nasty surprises, so we don’t let them happen around here.
