What information to include in my Annual Report

Annual Reports are usually a legal requirement so some of the information that you'll include will be mandated by UK law, whereas other information will be included at your own discretion.

At PrintHouse Corporation we've got a long and proud record of producing Annual Reports and based on that knowledge and history we're pleased to be able to provide some pointers as to what you should include in your organisation's Annual Report.

1. Audited Financial Accounts.

2. Notes to Financial Statements.

3. An Auditor's Report.

4. A report back from the Managing Director or Chief Executive.

5. Some industry assessment and analysis to set context.

6. Notes to the accounts.

7. List of Directors or Officers of your organisation.

8. Significant Policies of Accounting.

9. Discussion of the future direction & goals for your organisation.

Of course this isn't an exhaustive list and you'll want to talk to your legal and financial advisor as to precisely what to include. Much will depend on the type of business that you represent. Financial institutions will have a very different looking Annual Report to a charity for example.

However, the above list will help to shape your thinking and perhaps allow you to start to prepare the necessary information.

If you're starting work on your Annual Report we recommend an early conversation with the organisation that is going to design or print it for you.

We'd like to be involved in the production of your Annual Report so give us a call on 020 8963 0123 or contact us today for a quote, help and advice on your Annual Report.
