PUR Perfect Bound Book Printing

When you need to ensure your book will last the test of time and not just be a "one read wonder" then PUR binding is the way to go. We've all been on holiday and, when folding back the spine of the latest novel find a chunk of pages simply falls out! Perfect Binding, as a standard, uses "hot melt" glues - effectively little pellets of hard glue that liquify when heated up and harden as they cool. However, the downside is that as these glues dry out they can become brittle. PUR glues (PolyURethane) are far more flexible and therefore help solve this problem, but, as the glue is not re-usable, costs a little more in set up. But where longevity counts be sure to demand it.
