Printed catalogues can be finished in a number of different ways, but we think that saddle stitching can be right in the number of catalogue printing situations, particularly where I catalogue does not contain too many pages.
Saddle-Stitched is a method of securing loose printed pages with staples down the middle of a folded sheaf of papers. Many catalogues are saddled-stitched. However, there is a physical limit on the potential number of pages in your saddle stitched catalogue, simply because once you get above a certain size to staple cannot be made to fit through the spine of your catalogue.
Saddle stitching with a stable is considered to be a relatively cheap and cheerful way to bind your printed catalogue together and can be used on catalogues of up to around 48pp. any better and alternative form of catalogue binding will be required.
